        ANSWERS ... Tonight.

A WARM WELCOME
to all visitors with us this week.  We hope that you were uplifted by the worship service this morning, were inspired by the teaching from God's Word, and felt the presence of God in the gathering together of His people.

TEACHERS' INSTITUTE . . .
Beginning next Sunday (26th June), in the Manse, at 6p.m. sharp, our Church will have a Teachers' Institute.  The Institute will consist of six one-hour sessions about being a teacher.  It will not go into great detail about what you do in teaching, (that will come another time), but it will go into detail about what you are as a teacher of God's Word; about how God works through you in communicating the love of Jesus, and about the relationship you develop with your students that reveals most clearly the reality of the faith you teach - and represent.  The Institute is not limited to our Bible School staff, but is open to anyone who is in any way teaching others about God, or anyone who has thought about being a teacher.  There are "no strings attached."  Just because you attend the Institute doesn't mean you will get "roped" into teaching against your will.  This Institute is for and about a person through whom the Teacher, our Lord, reaches out to touch and to transform others who are deeply loved by Him.

CHRISTIANITY versus EVERYDAY LIVING . . .
Are you able to cope with what life is throwing at you?  If you are having trouble, the Wednesday evening study of the Book of Ecclesiastes is for you.  It is still not too late to get in on the ground floor of this study that will take a close look at what the world is giving as the solutions to life's problems versus God's solutions.  Join us!

LATEST NEWS FROM THE PRESTIDGE FAMILY IN MELBOURNE . . . .

Dear Christian Friends,
I just don't know how to thank you for your gift.  It was truly a gift from God, through you.  We had to get Debra a school outfit for winter, and I had to get some books.  Thank you very much - and for the gift from the District Sunday Service which came at the same time as the one from Motueka.

Well, if you have ever heard the saying, "Welcome to Sunny Australia", don't believe it!  It's so cold over here.  Worse than any cold day I ever felt in Motueka.  It's a joke around College about the cold.  We all have settled down well now, but it's so different from New Zealand.  We drive two miles to College and it takes half an hour, bumper-to-bumper all the way!

We have just about finished the first semester and are having exams in two weeks.  College life is moving along fast now; we have a lot of visiting speakers - Dr. Paul Crow from U.S.A., Rex Ellis from Sydney, and a team went to Kenmore for two weeks during the school holidays, - so we have a fair amount of contact with the outside world.

It is so good to hear that the Church in Motueka is moving along, and thank you for the Newsletters.  They make us feel so much closer.  We can't wait for the two years to pass so we can see you all again.  We get our slides out and have a look at you all from time to time.

Thank you again for everything.
Lots of Christian Love,
David, Barbara and family.
