A PLACE IN GOD'S PLAN
Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your eternal plan for all mankind.  PSALM 67:2 TLB

Count yourself among that great crowd of believers worldwide who know the Saviour, praise him for his Good News, and share that gospel until there is an abundant harvest.

APPLICATION!
Catch the vision of spreading the gospel to all the world-- Tell someone this week!

TONIGHT!!
Remember our evening services are being held at Bethany Park with all the campers 7:30pm.
Tonight the service is going to be taken by the OJ team that has been ministering the gospel message within the camp with children's fun time hour and outreach in High Street during the week; plus many other exciting beach ministries and activities.
We had a taste of how they could minister in different ways last week so do come along and be blessed by their ministry tonight.

FREE CAR WASH?
Hinemaia is running a free car wash here at the church next Saturday 11am - 2:30pm.
The wash is free but if you want to give a donation you can.  Any donations will be used as Hinemaia returns with Excel Ministries this coming year.
Line up next week for a "Summer Spruce Up."

A Well Kept Secret!
J. Hansen & L. Sim over the past year have conducted a romance that would be the best kept secret of the year.  Last week they made public their engagement and also the news of their wedding plans for this coming Saturday 11th January at 4pm.
They warmly invite the church to come and join with them in the ceremony.
We extend our love and prayers to them as they look forward to a loving and exciting future together.

Extreme Close Up!
is the name of a Christian programme that has been featuring on Channel One, Monday nights at 9:40pm.
It has covered different areas in NZ where God is moving in people's lives.
Last week it was on the Gisborne, Napier area where many hardened bikie gangs have come to the Lord and asked forgiveness of their rival gangs for past wrongs, hurts and attacks.
It is on again this Monday night so tune in and see what God is doing in our country.

Don't Stop Praying!
When you stop praying, you stop caring!  Prayer is one of the highest expressions of your love.  It's "standing in the gap" on behalf of another and it's both a privilege and a great responsibility.  James says "pray for one another that you may be healed." (James 5:16)  When times are discouraging and things seem to be getting no better, keep praying!  Paul says, "Making mention of you always in my prayers." (Romans 1:9)

My late Sunday school superintendent "Pop Magee," who died in his nineties, could remember the names of scores of people that others seemed to have difficulty in remembering.  When asked how he could do this, he said, "Because I pray for them by name every day!"  You can't forget somebody you're praying for.

God works through your prayers!  Listen, "Call upon me and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things that you know not." (Jeremiah 33:3)  Your prayer becomes the bridge over which the answers pass, the electric wire through which God's presence flows into the situation.

When you stop praying a door closes!  God comes by invitation.  Even though Israel was in rebellion, Samuel thought it would be a sin to stop praying for them. (1 Samuel 12:23)  Your prayers authorise God to act!  Listen, "You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves." (Isaiah 62:6)

Keep praying, for prayer changes things!!
