Bring a friend who is a keen fisho and join us as we cruise the Sounds looking for that elusive "big one".

T. & S. Parkinson will address a meeting at the Parish Centre, St. Thomas's on Saturday 12th April at 3pm.
There will be afternoon tea, sales table and all are welcome, including children.

LADIES' CHAT ....
There were lots of "apologies" for our Heart Sister Revelations Evening last week, but nevertheless, it was a very happy time for those who were able to attend, with the usual surprises and the exchange of lovely gifts.  After some worthwhile discussion, we decided to take a break from Heart Sisters for the next two to three months ... and then begin anew.  Details will be advertised - so watch out for the start-up date in due course.

In the meantime, however, you can still give a surprise gift ... or show care and kindness for others in the Fellowship ... anyone you choose.  You can enjoy being a 'Heart Sister' to anyone and everyone!  Be open to God's leading ... and continue to utilise the table in the foyer.  Who knows what you may find there!!

The opportunity was also taken for a round-table chat and discussion about the future direction of our ladies' activities, overall. ... What do we want ... when? why? where? how?

A new organising Committee has been formed, to take over the leadership of CWF and other social events for our ladies.  These activities are now in the capable hands of Carolyn J. and Rose G., together with help from some other enthusiasts, and we thank them for their offer to contribute in this way.  They are full of bright ideas ... so watch out for something exciting to happen!  A special "thank you" to Alison Y. for her leadership and hard work over recent years.  (Alison and Lesley will continue to head up the Catering Team, but both feel the need for a break from the responsibility of planning other events for the ladies this year.)

You are invited to a "Kitchen Evening"!!
Please do come!  Our kitchen facilities at the church need improving!!  Don't you agree?  Ideas for remodelling and upgrading the kitchen were discussed by the ladies and some suggestions put forward.  The Elders and Board members are keen to go ahead with some improvements, as soon as possible, but need to know what is wanted.  Enlargement?  Re-siting?  New equipment? ... or what?  Naturally, the best people to make suggestions about what is wanted are those who use the kitchen and know its present frustrations.  Therefore, time has been set aside for this purpose at the next Board Meeting.
All are invited to come along this Tuesday, 9th April 8pm ... at the church to share ideas and make suggestions.
