WELCOME TO YOUR CHURCH!
Motueka Church of Christ

Pastor Darryl & Kaye Schelbach, 374 High Street, MOTUEKA

A special welcome to you if you are visiting - please stay for a cuppa (or maybe an apple) after the service.

The Perfect Pastor!
He preaches exactly 20 minutes, then sits down.  He condemns sin, but never steps on anyone's toes.  He works from eight in the morning until ten at night doing everything from preaching sermons to vacuuming the church.  He makes $400 a week, gives $100 of it back to the church, drives a late-model car, buys lots of books, sensible clothes and has a nice family.  He stands ready to contribute to every good cause and to help the homeless who drop by the church.

He's 36 and has been preaching for 50 years.  He's tall, on the short side; heavy set in a thin sort of way and handsome.  He has eyes of blue or brown, as the occasion demands, and wears his hair parted in the middle - left side dark and straight, right side brown and wavy.  He has a burning desire to work with youth and spends all his time with the senior citizens.  He smiles all the time while keeping his face straight, because he has a keen sense of humour that finds him seriously dedicated.  He makes 15 calls a day on church members, spends all his time evangelising non-members and is always found in his study if he is needed.  Unfortunately, he burnt himself out and died at the age of 32!

A spiritual gift is given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church!
- 1 Corinthians 12:7

Let's discover and use our gift to encourage and help the church together!
God bless ya!
Darryl & Kaye.
