MOTUEKA CHURCH OF CHRIST
374 High St., Motueka.
Pastors: Fred & Colleen King.

Welcome to our Father's House.  We trust you find this a great time of sharing together around the Lord's Table, in His Word, and enjoying fellowship with the Saints.  If we can assist you today please make your request known to the door stewards or one of the Elders.  If you have no church home and you wish to consider this as: "the place of the planting of the Lord" please see Fred or Colleen, ph xxx xxxx.

TODAY IS MISSIONARY SUNDAY!
Go ye into the world and preach the good news to all creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
-- Mark 16:15-16

Advance notice of Coming Events:
Today is MISSIONARY SUNDAY where we remember the "Word of God" given to us to take into all the world and to remember the Missionaries who are working away from their homes preaching the "Good News" to all.
Motueka is our Mission field:
and we rejoice with those eleven people who over the last 5 weeks have decided to accept Jesus into their lives.      The angels in heaven rejoice!

Today, the offering will be set aside as a MISSIONARY OFFERING.  The entire day's offering will be dedicated to Missions including part for Mariana from Romania who gave her testimony to those who met with her here a few Wednesdays ago.

August the 25th will be our A.G.M. meeting here at the church after the morning service and shared lunch.  All members and attending people are encouraged to attend to discuss the following year's activities and direction.

Mission News. Mission News. Mission News.
An update of the things we have been doing!!

Money has recently been forwarded to KIWI LINK, our Link with Missions in Zimbabwe.
* An $800.00 gift was received from the Kool Kids programme and this money will be used for support workers at a Sunday school in Bulawayo where H. Mansill was working.
* $1572.00 was forwarded to complete a roof on one of their church buildings.  Most of the money came from proceeds of a stock take done at Whitcoulls by some of our members.  Well done!
* Another $1000.00 was forwarded from our mission funds to purchase a motor bike for a pastor, but, because of difficulties in obtaining a reasonable machine and the possible problems with obtaining spare parts, it was decided to put the money towards a motor car for a pastor.  A car can also be used in transporting people.
- E. Repp.
Mission Treasurer.
