Sunday 19 October 2008
Welcome along to our service today and a special welcome to visitors. Pastor Fred will be speaking this morning on 'Connecting the Dots Part 3' and there'll be a cuppa in the hall after the service. Please stay if you'd like to join with us for that. There won't be a service here this evening.

Where are the Youth?
The Sublime team are away doing an outreach with a church fellowship in Greymouth over the weekend. Let's be in prayer for them and may Christ's name be magnified down there as a result.

Working Bee
Thank you to all who attended the working bee on Wednesday. A lot was achieved from the excellent turnout and the place is looking so much the better for it, so well done one and all! You're a blessing! There are two tables of lost property in the hall looking for owners and there's a table of crockery and china and some toys that you are free to take. What's not collected will be sent to the Salvation Army in due course, so be in.

Would You Like a Visit?
We are aware from time to time that people enjoy a visit - maybe to ask a question, maybe for prayer or simply just to have a cuppa. If this is you, feel free to contact Brent at the church office and he would be happy to arrange a time to meet.

Pro-Life Conference
The very first All For Life Conference is to be held in Nelson over Labour Weekend (October 24-26) with a range of visiting speakers and pro-life interest groups represented. Open to all those with an active interest in helping provide positive alternatives to abortion. See the noticeboard for more details.

Baptism in the Sea
If you are considering being water baptised then have a talk with Brent about this possibility coming soon!

He Wants to Stay In Touch!
Gerald H. is now at Room 43, Whareama Rest Home, 81 Neale Avenue, Stoke. He would love to have visitors, people to pray with him or to have cards sent to him etc.
