* EFTPOS now available: It is now very common for people not to carry cash and because of this it is often very inconvenient for many when when we sell coffee, cakes, tickets for events and so on without offering the option of EFTPOS for payment. For this reason we now have EFTPOS facilities.
It has also been discussed that the way of the future is for people to have the option of being able to pay for their tithes and offerings by EFTPOS. So, if you wish to do this, feel free to go to the EFTPOS desk, swipe your card and in your own privacy select the amount you wish to pay, print the receipt and write either your name or tithe number (or both) on the receipt and slip it into the offering box. (Our church treasurer would in due course clear the EFTPOS receipt and provide a donation receipt at tax time.) You can select to have a second receipt printed for your own records.

* Celebrating Spring - God in creation

See notice board for the latest update from Pastor W. Thebe Mlilo in Zimbabwe.

* Urgent Need
Rhema Broadcasting Group (RBG) operates three national Christian radio networks and every day New Zealand's Rhema, Life fm and Southern Star positively impact the lives of thousands of New Zealanders of all ages. Right now the majority of their radio stations are under threat... towns, cities and entire regions could soon be left with no RBG broadcast coverage. Why is this happening? By October 1st this year RBG must pay the NZ Government $X.X XXXXXX to renew 90% of their commercial radio fequency licences for the next 20 years. For RBG to positively impact the lives of the next generation, it is vital that the frequency licences are secured this year. RBG has begun a major campaign called 2030 Vision to raise the funds needed to keep NZ covered by Christian radio. Sign up sheets are available at church or you can make a direct donation or find out more by visiting www.2030vision.co.nz

* Special thanks to all those who helped out with the Watoto Children's choir, especially host families. It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by many.

* Sista's Freedom Fighters
Next Thursday 9th of September most of our ladies will be off to Auckland for the Sista's Conference. There will be dads looking for baby sitters, so anyone who could help let the church office know.
